This stand needed to spin and able to hold various material. It also had to provide for additional material in the future.
Display Tactix’s knowledge of fabricating materials and a reliable team of sub contractors brought the job together to create a great final product.
Every now and then we get an interesting (and at the same time challenging) job that comes along giving us a chance to work with a combination of several different materials including acrylic.
These jobs also mean we have to call on our very reliable list of suppliers and manufacturers to help us produce the end product.
The New Year started with a large one of “these jobs” so after the initial brief and proto type was made and approved we settled on the use of a produce called ACM Architectural Panels which is a 4mm sheet comprising of a core of LDPE sandwiched between 2 sheets of high grade aluminium. This is great to work with as you can use rivets or screws to form the shape required for your stand. In this case we were making a three-sided body, which was to have acrylic posters as well as an acrylic product pocket that both needed to be hanged out from time to time. The stand also had to be balanced, as it was required to be pole mounted and revolving.
Together with our local manufacturers (engineer and powder coater) and suppliers (hardware and raw materials) we combined our individual fields, which worked well in achieving the results we needed.
This rather large project reinforced to us at Display Tactix the importance of having good working relationships with the right people for the right job that you can rely on to produce an excellent quality product delivered on time.
