Wood or Timber Signs
The World is turning more and more into a more sustainable place; and we would like to help do our part as well.
We are using Macrocarpa or Kwila timber, which comes from our local sawmill
The finish of the wooden sign can be either painted or just oiled. Oils being the preferred choice as they are environmentally friendly and biodegradable.
The lifetime of the timber signs can be estimated at around 10 years or more - depending on the customer care. We recommend that by oiling the sign twice a year, it will help you to have a very sustainable sign for a very long time.
With our CNC Machine, can we offer you two options, a straight mill cut or a V cut which is often just used for graphics or outlines.
The depth of the cut can varied from a couple of mm to about 10 - 20mm. The deeper we cut into the timber the more a 3D effect is created, very effected with big letters. For small letters a depth of about 5 - 10mm is very effective. You can supply us with any shape of wood, it just needs to be as flat as possible and no thicker than 100 mm. The cut on the CNC machine can cover an area 1220 mm x 2440 mm.
